Developed with input from customers and inspired by traditional Scout camp designs, the Fire Shelter provides generous headroom for cooking, food preparation and shared outdoor activities. Its open-sided design promotes excellent ventilation while creating an accessible space for groups to gather in comfort.
Safe and Practical Design
Manufactured from premium 12oz (393gsm) 'A' Grade cotton duck canvas, the Fire Shelter is fire retardant to BS7836 (1996), water repellent, rot resistant and mildew resistant. The open-sided construction allows heat and smoke to disperse naturally, while the shelter can be quickly erected using the robust tubular steel frame supplied.
Built for Repeated Use
Designed for repeated seasonal use, the Fire Shelter has been built to withstand demanding outdoor environments. The shelter is supplied complete with all necessary guy ropes, pegs and frame components, with the poles and canvas packed separately for easier transportation and storage. The XL model also features a detachable panel, while both shelter ends can be angled down to provide additional protection from wind when required.
